My name is Jesse Skinner. I'm a freelance web developer, and I lead a team of web developers. You can get in touch with us here.

I'm a Canadian from Barrie, Ontario, an hour drive north of Toronto.

I was born in 1980, and I've had a computer since 1983. As a child, I read programming magazines and typed the BASIC code into my Coleco Adam. I went on to graduate from the University of Waterloo in 2004 with a "Bachelor of Mathematics" in Computer Science.

I've been working as a professional web developer since 2001, specializing in JavaScript and Ajax. Here is my resume.

I also write. I write regularly on The Future of the Web, I've had a few articles published and an O'Reilly book called Unobtrusive Ajax. I've also given a number of talks.
